Alpha provided mold remediation and engineering controls for a heavily impacted crawlspace in Lake Owsego. The house is positioned slightly downgradiant on the property, which resulted in stormwater draining into the crawlspace. This caused mold growth throughout the entire crawlspace areas, and in addition to remediation, also required additional controls to prevent future reoccurring mold growth and moisture issues. Moisture and mold had also impacted most of the insulation in the crawlspace, so it was all removed and replaced following mold remediation. Alpha installed a french drain system to divert and contain stormwater and also installed a vapor-moisture intrusion mitigation system to prevent both moisture and potentially harmful vapors from intruding into the building.

Alpha Golf Tournament Sponsorship

Alpha was a primary sponsor at a local golf fundraising event, which provides scholarships for future college students. The event sponsors funding scholarships for students in the East Metro area. Last year, three $1,500 first place scholarships, three $1,000 runner-up scholarships and $50 gift certificates were awarded to students at Centennial, Barlow, and Sandy High Schools.

At the event, Alpha setup a dart throwing contest at the 8th green, and gave away merchandise from the Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland. One group in particular (pictured in the slideshow) each won a prize.

New Website

Alpha launched its newly designed website. Additional changes will follow over the next month. Since the redesign of the previous website in 2006, Alpha has become an Emerging Small Business, employing 18 full-time employees, while expanding into emerging fields such as vapor intrusion testing and mitigation. Gratitude is due to all of our clients and work partners over the last 5 years who have helped our business to prosper. Alpha hopes to provide an even higher level of professionalism, expertise, and affordability for years to come.
