Cleanup of Heating Oil Tank – Forest Grove, OR
Alpha performed soil removal, risk assessment, and groundwater study for a leaking underground heating oil tank. Levels of contamination were considered free product, and approximately 80 tons of free product level soil was removed in order to achieve site closure. Alpha worked under the supervision of another environmental consulting firm who was hired by the owner’s insurance agency to oversee our work. Alpha was able to complete site closure, from start to finish, in less than two weeks while keeping the environmental consulting firm, the home owner, neighbor who had a portion of contamination on her property, and insurance company informed and involved in the decision-making process.
