Erik Anderson, Registered Geologist (Subcontractor)


Mr. Anderson has a Bachelor of Science from University of Minnesota and has completed 60 hours of graduate geology courses at Portland State University. He has been a Registered Geologist in the State of Oregon (#G1204) since 1992, a Washington Licensed Geologist/Hydrogeologist (#169) since 2001, and an Alaska Licensed Geolgist (#553) since 2003. He also has the following certifications: Oregon Certified Water Rights Examiner, Oregon Bonded Monitoring Well Constructor, Hazardous Materials Handling and Response, Oregon Soil Matrix Cleanup Supervisor, Oregon Heating Oil Tank Supervisor.

He has more than 21 years experience in various phases of environmental assessments and environmental site investigations for a diverse group of clients in Oregon and Washington.

Erik has a broad technical background in environmental site investigations and remediation. His years of oversight on more than 900 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and more than 400 soil and groundwater investigations and cleanups have given him valuable insight and perspective into the issue of assessment and remediation of properties. His pursuit of continuing education in the areas of regulatory issues and assessment and cleanup technologies assures that his projects are completed under the most current standards.

He has established a sound reputation and good working relationships with many state regulatory agencies and has managed many environmental investigations and remediation projects under the Oregon DEQ Voluntary Cleanup Program, Independent Cleanup Pathway, and the Site Response Section of DEQ, as well as numerous independent assessments and cleanups conducted without DEQ oversight.
