Cleanup of Heating Oil Tank – SW Portland

Alpha completed site cleanup to address soil and groundwater contamination from a leaking underground storage tank. Based on the contaminant levels, soil removal was required before the site could be closed with a risk-based study including vapor intrusion analysis with a soil-gas sample. In spite of the removal of almost 25 tons of contamination and a sewer line running over the top of the excavation, Alpha was able to restore the site to conditions which became almost undetectable by the time the house sold less than 3 months later.
