Mr. Goodman has been at Alpha for four years after coming from the Idaho DEQ to work in the environmental consulting sector.  His current responsibilities include project management of UST projects, assisting with project management for residential projects, and vapor intrusion (VI) consulting. He has been heavily involved in Alpha’s vapor intrusion projects, having completed a number of radon mitigation systems, assisting Mr. Richard Cason on VI projects in Roswell, New Mexico and Eugene, Oregon, and developing Alpha’s VI characterization and analysis program for hydrocarbon contaminated soil and groundwater sites. He has completed the 40 Hour HAZWOPER and also is a part of Alpha’s health and safety committee. Mr. Goodman previously spent 2 years at the Idaho DEQ working in the Engineering group, working with the Staff Engineers in reviewing projects for regulatory compliance. During his tenure with Alpha, he has worked in all types of residential and commercial projects including underground storage tanks, radon testing and mitigation, mold remediation, and assisted on Phase I and Phase II ESA’s. He currently coordinates the residential day-to-day operations and is also a licensed Oregon DEQ Heating Oil Tank Supervisor.
